Recently I was at some mates when they decided to play poker. Not good for me considering that I didn’t have a clue how to play. Making my excuses I left going straight home to find out how to play. I went online and found a great united kingdom poker site which had some very simple easy to understand rules on how to play so getting some cars out I started to play around with them to see if I could remember the different hands when they came up.

The great thing about this particular United Kingdom poker site was that the hands were shown very clearly so there could be no mistake. I soon picked up the idea. Let us face it; identifying the hands is actually the easy part. It also had an area to explain how the game is played; who bets and when etc. I slowly but surely learnt how to play allowing my competitive streak take over.

The following week when the idea of poker came up I was all for it. I knew what I had learnt from that United Kingdom poker site would at least allow me to take part and while I didn’t win I felt like the real game allowed me to learn even more. It is a great game; I cannot wait to play again.
